It resembles a creme brulee, but this version is flavored with orange and cinnamon. The crema is very light and only slightly sweet and the top crust is a very thin layer of caramelized sugar, which adds the perfect amount of sweetness to the dessert without overwhelming it.

And I hate to say this, but not every cheese produced in La Mancha is manchego. Also, where I come from Barcelona one of the sauces used for Bravas is tomato sauce…. Before correcting someone, get your facts right…. I have eaten all of those and have enjoyed every single one. I love Spain and its people, culture, architecture and history. I may eventually retire there one day.
Absolutely agree! Spain is one of my favorite places. The culture, the architecture, and the people are great but the food is by far superior! But when it comes to paella. The one that you get here in Valencia, is always served with rabbit and chicken, maybe snails. You will not get any mussels, or shrimps with the original dish.
I really want to try the original. Tradicionally made in a copper pot where you dip it 3 times once water starts boiling before leaving it in the pot to cook. And that water is then used to boil the cachelos potatoes.
