Housed in a heritage building, MacArthur Chambers provide classic yet modern spacious apartments in the city heart. This modern building offers city views and world-class amenities. There is plenty of budget-friendly accommodation in The City you can choose from. At ibis Styles the rooms are bright, bold, super affordable and on the doorstep of both The City and its nightlife.
Close by and as such in a very central location is Turbots House Hotel. Short on time and only have one day in Brisbane? Here's how to spend it.
North side, south side, east side or west side? Fabulous food market in square opposite the casino. The W Brisbane is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Australia.
On arrival someone was already there to greet us before carrying our luggage for delivery to our room. The check-in process was speedy and easy. The room was absolutely stunning, the bed was very comfortable, and I was impresse The room was absolutely stunning, the bed was very comfortable, and I was impressed with the offer of both a soft and firmer pillow to pick from.
I particularly loved the Stolzle glassware. The fitness room was very modern and well equipped. There was an incident of being served an alcoholic drink which I'm allergic to at the lounge when I ordered a mocktail which led to a rather "eventful" 1st time meeting with my partner's family, but the staff handled the incident well and I'm sure we'll laugh about it in the future.
Definitely recommend and will be returning. We stayed at the Hotel Urban for 3 nights. The hotel itself is very nice looking and the room we were given was enormous with a very large balcony.
The best thing about this hotel has to be its location. It is a short walk, about 5 minutes, to the nearest train station and only 10 minutes to the center so its an ideal base for exploring the city. If we every retu If we every return to Brisbane we would definitely stay here again. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
This is a great place to stay and would recommend it to friends. Close to the heart of all there is to do in Brisbane city. Wouldn't stay in another hotel in Brisbane now. Just a few minutes walk to Queen's mall and the main throughfare. Biggish rooms as expected of a serviced apartment style hotel. A bit worn but still fine.
Car Park can get a bit full and is like the whole of Brisbane city centre expensive. We were upgraded to a Corner Suite which was fantastic- spacious, nicely furnished and very comfortable. We used the Executive Club lounge which was very nice- great views over Brisbane, very comfortabl and friendly, helpful staff. The only major disappointment was the breakfast served in the lounge which offered a very limited choice and simply was not up to the usu The only major disappointment was the breakfast served in the lounge which offered a very limited choice and simply was not up to the usual Sofitel standards.
Club guests are not allowed to have breakfast in the hotel's main restaurant which is disappointing as this is usually the option given in most hotels that offer Club facilities.
The hotel's location above Central Station could not be more convenient. We got the train from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and there is a direct access from the Station to the hotel- all you need to do is go up two escalators to reach the hotel lobby. The staff at the Sofitel Brisbane are charming and helpful and the check in and check out were handled very efficiently. I would definitely recommend the Sofitel Brisbane to any traveller who wants a very comfortable hotel in the heart of the city.
I have nothing bad to say about this amazing Hostel! The bar is super fun and and the food was very good. All the staff I met was very welcoming, from the start when I was checking in until I was checking out, nothing but exellent costumer service! A big shout out to the Hoisekeepers because my room was spotfree when I checked in!
It is also a very convenient placemen I didn't even have to buy my own air train ticket to the airport, they had it all at the Hostel. They were also great with helping me to explore Brisbane as I was traveling by myself, I went to an amazing Koala Santctury and the Australian Zoo - That was beyond amazing and they can sell you the tickets at the Hostel! Doesn't get easier than than! Thanks for my stay, I'm definitely coming back. Rooms are a tad small however, the apartment is very clean and well maintained.
Love the location. Its easy to walk everywhere in Brisbane City. I had a great view of the city and of the river from my room. It was a wonderful relaxed stay. Thank you for having your hotel at the center of the city. It was really chilled for me to go shopping and have a site view. The room was chilled and it was really comfortable, beds and relaxing. I would want to stay there when ever I got to Brisbane. Thank you very much. Best regards.
My staying at this hotel was one of the best moment of life. Well secured hotel. The respect people's privacy. The car parking is very cheap. The TV has good Fox sport channels ,movies ,and also local channels. It is It is a very relaxing hotel. I can not recommend this hotel enough. Rooms sparkling clean and comfortable beds. Called reception and they immediately moved us to a new room and were so polite about the whole thing. Location is perfect, right across from the casino and o e block from Queen st.
Stay here!!! Good location, Reasonable price! I really had a great time at summer backpacker. Good place for stating your journey in Australia. After a week in Brisbane, I moved to Bundaberg to get the 2nd-year visa. I definitely will consider staying here when I come back. Definitely a cheap and dry place to stay. Common rooms were messy.
I stayed two nights and each morning and evening and throughout the day there were constant dishes everywhere. None were ever cleaned to use. Had to wash myself. Rooms were clean and sheets were clean.
Saw them getting cleaned too. Worth it and would stay again. Cheapest in Brisbane-pro Managers are inhumane. One actually called cops on a girl for asking why she could not sit in silence after quiet time.
Group of 5 kicked out to sidewalk instead of sitting on steps 4ft difference and cops are waiting at corner. Same manager also sits around in his free time taking pics of girls with fancy camera without them knowing.
Effin creep. On the day I was check-in, I've been greet with a friendly staff and I've been informed that my room has been upgraded from 4 dorm hostel to 2 dorm hostel. Not only that, the view at the swimming pool area is awesome, great view of Brisbane city. One thing that maybe bother me is, the wifi coverage at my room is One thing that maybe bother me is, the wifi coverage at my room is totally bad.
I have to go out from room to get the connection. The best place to stay connected is at the TV area. Other than that, is great! The rooms didn't have much floor space so were a bit cramped with 5 bags in the rooms but otherwise the rooms were nice and there were enough facilities for the number of guests.
Kitchen was pretty well-equipped tho didn't appear to have a toaster and crockery and cutlery Kitchen was pretty well-equipped tho didn't appear to have a toaster and crockery and cutlery was loaned out with a deposit, meaning people actually washed it up rather than leaving it in the sink after use.
Nice view over the city from the terrace area. Staff were friendly and have heaps of useful info at check-in. There wasn't too much noise late at night as there wasn't a bar on the property, and they seemed quite strict about shutting down the terrace after midnight.
